how do i get into property development

My family and I are property developers and builders in Australia and we are now planning on moving to the USA to get into Property Development. we are coming over in 3 weeks to look at property and some business opportunities.

anyone know where is a good place to start or any places to look for investment partners?

if i needed £200,000 for a property development and im only 18 and a student will i be able to get it from the bank?

I am trying to speculate on the profits to be expected from a proposed property development scheme on a spread sheet and would like to devise a formula that calculates the optimum selling price per unit and expected profits. Are there any formula’s that anyone is aware of.

The variables I have involved so far are
1. Number of units
2. Overall build cost of the entire project
3. Recommended selling price per unit

Are there any other variables I should consider adding

This is residential property that overlooks a city nearby. It has been in the development process but lacks a quality big time player. With the right association I expect it to really produce.
